COURTESY THE BREATHING ROOM Certified Yoga Instructor Cheryl Paulson has launched the Breathing Room in Hardwick. HARDWICK -- The Breathing Room is bringing a breath of fresh air to the area. Breathing Room, located at 735 Route 94, is a new healing arts space offering a variety of holistic practices for health and well-being. Classes have already started. The opening ceremony will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27.
Owner and Certified Yoga Instructor Cheryl Paulson created the "unique and diverse cooperative space, offering a variety of holistic practices for health at reasonable prices, all under one roof." There will be classes in yoga, martial arts, belly-dancing and other movement arts. The rustic and serene treatment room is a space reserved for nurturing massage and skin care. Workshops will be offered throughout the year in nutrition, energy healing and personal growth.
Breathing Room space is simple and serene. The soft sunny walls and large rustic beamed windows look out onto farm pasture and woods. Paulson's family painted colorful chakras now hanging on the studio walls. Paulson wanted a "green space, offering karma practices, supporting the community." Her goal is to foster a warm and friendly community of practitioners and students of various persuasions, ages and levels of fitness. Paulson wants clients to see "our space as a haven, a time to focus on you, a time to practice self-care.We aspire to offer something special and supportive to each individual who steps through the door. Let our classes and services be your guide to optimum health." Breathing Room is offering an opening special of $10 per summer class until August 31st. Breathing Room invites all to attend the free opening ceremony. Meet some of the practitioners and special guest speakers.
